Skipper Club in Miami - Fantastic

We booked a suite guarantee for our cruise on Jan 22 and had our first experience with Carnival's VIP check in. What a joy and worth every penny. We arrived ti Miami port at 1130 to find the usual line out the door and beginning to snake. We found a Carnival rep and showed him our docs and away we went. Past the long line and into the Skipper's Club lounge. We sat for 10 minutes in nice chairs in AC room and someone took our docs and checked us in. At around 1145 they escorted us thru security while a throng of people stared at us moving ahead of them. It's a cheap thrill, I admit, but it still feels great. Up to the second floor we sat in a big room with other passengers who were coming in. They were the first on line in the regular line (who knows how long they had been there). At noon we stood up with other VIP er's. We were the last in this group. Then a rep pointed and said go that way and we went and were by luck literally the first and 2nd people to board the ship. It was hysterical and we were of course thrilled.

So I guess by now you know how I feel about Skipper's Club. Sorry for the gloating but I couldn't resist......

Wow, thanks for the great info. We just booked the Valor today and wondered how their Skipper's Club was handled. We had a fantastic experience in Tampa two weeks ago, the smoothest ever. Sounds like Miami has their act together too!:D

Could someone point me to the Skipper's Club information on the Carnival web site? I have looked for it and come up empty.

Also, our party has two suites and an oceanview for our kids. Will our kids get to come along with us to check in at the Skippers Club?
