Sports Bar food charge

Are they now a la carte charging for each thing on Divina, Seaside and Meraviglia?

Divina, no.  Seaside, yes.  Meraviglia not currently on European sailing, but possibly yes once it hits the US.

And food in Divina Sports Bar is excellent, we skipped the Dining Room one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you go peak lunchtime it could be very very busy.

I can't find a good menu for Seaside sports bar? Does anyone happen to have one? Considering doing this for dinner one night.

It was on posted on here a while back, created a lot of comments because the 6 wing basket was less than half the cost of the 12 wing basket.  The pre October, 2018 CC threads don't appear to be searchable.

Went through there several times this year and never saw anyone eating.  Also never very busy.  They have nice lounge areas with your own tvs.

When I was on Meraviglia the food was free, but you had to stay and eat in the bar close to the sports area.

Just off Preziosa and the food items purported to be free, but the bar had strange opening hours and we never got the chance to indulge (we would have liked to have gone for lunch one day)

Currently on Seaview. Sports Bar only has one dish: Wings with sauces. 

 

Never saw anybody eat there.

thank you! That menu is significantly different than Divina. Does anyone know if Divina changed the sports bar menu? I wonder if all the ships are scaling back the sports bar menus.

I really don't understand why they are changing from free to reducing menu options and charging. This not only applies to MSC, but to all cruise lines. They will continue to do so as long as people buy.

Food in the Sports Bar never was free except some US sailings I guess. Actually it was not a question of free or not, there was no food option at all. In all my MSC cruises over the years I used the Sport Bars quite often, but never saw anyone eating something. But I like the menu posted above, would be nice if MSC would roll it out.

Wings were the only thing available on the Seaside. We got off the ship on Saturday. Lots of people ordered.

Are those deep fried? I can do wings if they aren't deep fried. Also, which sauce did you try?

The photo above was the menu in the sports bar on Divinia while sailing in the USA. It's been around since 2014. Totally complimentary. Problem was the hours of the sports bar were terrible, but people were eating during my many walk throughs.

I assume that most restaurant buffalo wings are deep fried.  Even if they aren't battered.

 

We like things hot so we tried the mango habanero, medium, and diablo sauces.
