Recent price was around $45 so it is a great time to buy 100 shares if you were thinking about it.

Somebody posted the same thing when it was 72. Then 65. Then 58. Then 49.

 

Someone will eventually be right. Perhaps even you.

We got our 100 shares at +/- $22 ... yes, quite some time ago ... $45 doesn't really excite us.

If you have your 100 shares, why buy more? The dividends are OK, but not fantastic. Most people buy Carnival shares to get the OBC which you already get.

CCL shares could be a reasonable holding as part of a diversified portfolio. 4% dividend yield and subject to the economy. 

 

This might fit many folk’s portfolios. 

 

I for one, hold 100 shares in one account and trade many more in another account.
