Is this worth the money and does it actually work ?

I get it everytime as I stream football or baseball from my home cable. Sometimes it buffers a little but 90% of the time it works just great. If you are a sports nut, you can’t count on the ships tv package to get anything but boring soccer 24/7.

It is satellite internet (with all of the associated latency) shared by 4500 passengers, 1600 crew, and ship's operations. 

 

If you're expecting wifi like at home, you will be very disappointed. If you want to make a wifi call, it works most of the time. We always have the premium wifi package to stay in touch with folks at home.

That is reassuring as I bought that upgrade and it is quite a bit of money if it is no good. Thanks for the feedback. Dennis
