Dividers added to EDGE cabanas deck 14

We boarded EDGE Sept 30. Cabanas on deck 14 were wide open. Yesterday when we walked by we saw planters in the front and frosted glass panels and dividers.

That a improvement in providing privacy.  Have they done anything to block the wind at the Rooftop Grill?

 Wonder if they are mostly for privacy or wind block.  The half size ones may feel small 

 

 Hope the dividers are strong...saw many planters blown over out there!

 

Glad they are trying improvements and hope  the Rooftop gets some sun and wind relief.

In my opinion the new cabanas on the Edge were not at all worth it.  They really weren't private.  The new version of the cabanas on the Equinox were so much better!

But the corridor is public. People walking by staring at you.  Next door people hear you conversations even when talking in a normal voice.  Very poorly designed

Yes....the corridor is public. With the planters in front it's not quite as bad as when it was wide open. Agree....poorly designed.

Looks like a nice improvement. Unfortunately, due to some medical concerns we won't be using the pool or hot tubs this next cruise. So I cancelled our cabana reservation for Nov 15 Edge.

Do people book these cabanas for privacy?  Or for other reasons like shade?  Perhaps the new dividers are meant to block some wind?  or noise?  They are in a very public area.
