bryanem Posted October 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2019 Does anyone have recommendations on their favorite restaurants to get breakfast on Oasis of the Seas, other than the Windjammer buffet?
Artemus Posted October 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2019 We always eat in the main dining room and order from the menu.

ahughes517 Posted October 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2019 Park Cafe’s breakfast sandwiches and burritos are pretty tasty.
rcclmiami Posted October 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2019 Jonny Rockets. Good service and chopped steak and eggs!
garnetpalmetto Posted October 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2019 I prefer Johnny Rockets for breakfast - fresh, real eggs and pretty good pancakes!

villager70 Posted October 11, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 11, 2019 We like going to dinning room and go to waiter service side and after I order can get up and walk to center buffet and get some fruit choices or anything else to nibble on before order arrives. Nado44 Posted October 11, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 11, 2019 Johnny Rockets is also my favorite breakfast venue. Everything is served piping hot and is made to order right there on the premises - and not from the galley. Get there early though as it fills up fast. KeywestK Posted October 11, 2019 #10 Share Posted October 11, 2019 I really like Park Cafe for breakfast and lunch. WJ is a mob scene during breakfast and lunch hours, and I avoid it whenever possible. On sea days, DH likes the MDR for breakfast for fresh made pancakes. Hint: to avoid long waits in the MDR for breakfast, ask for a small table. You'll get in and out much quicker.
Rare Lionesss Posted October 11, 2019 #11 Share Posted October 11, 2019 We enjoy Wipeout cafe for fresh made omelets to our liking. Although Johnny Rockets does do a good job.
37645 Posted October 11, 2019 #12 Share Posted October 11, 2019 So I’ve never eaten in the MDR for breakfast or lunch as we’ve been wary of the seating. Are you able to get a table for yourself for two or are you forced to sit with strangers? Thanks

FPP777 Posted October 12, 2019 #14 Share Posted October 12, 2019 Do suite guests have the option of going to one of the specialty restaurants?

In the last few years, it has been common policy to offer full suite guests (GS and better) and Pinnacle level C&A members a made-to-order breakfast option in a speciality restaurant. Not on Oasis or Quantum ships. They have a dedicated venue called Coastal Kitchen. On a few sailings they have used Chops as an overflow, but that is very rare

Rare starvenger Posted October 12, 2019 #19 Share Posted October 12, 2019 I'm not a huge fan of the JR breakfast options - they're pretty unremarkable - but as noted, the food is made quickly. And apart from the purple tubes it's a nice view and a relaxing outdoor meal.

Rare mac_tlc Posted October 12, 2019 #23 Share Posted October 12, 2019 We used to go to the Windjammer, but not anymore. If we want a more relaxing time, we do the MDR. Otherwise it’s JR or Park Cafe, so long as we can find a seat. mac_tlc

The real differentiator is the view and al fresco dining. I like eating there for that reason. Otherwise I'm inclined to eat at Wipeout or whichever venue is where Wipeout is/was
