The Silversea “spelling gremlins” are at it again I see - they spelt New Zealand wrong in the Whites section of the Connoisseur List...

The shear number of misspellings in the Connoisseur wine list is amazing.  Nearly every page has one.

For Stumblefoot

Mr. Silver, once again thanks for sharing.  I completed my in-depth hunt this evening and found several compelling bargains for some exceptional wines.  In addition to the Italian wines that can always be counted on for their nice discount vs. U.S. retail prices, some of the other great values are:

  • Pinot Noir, '15 Craggy Range, -43%
  • Rioja, '09 Bodegas Vega Sicilia 'Unico', -48%
  • Chardonnay, '16 Vincent Girardin Corton Charlemange, -37%
  • Sauternes, '06 Château d'Yquem, -24%

Hopefully, the gems I found will still be on board in 6-weeks!

Good hunting, it’s just a shame that the Tignanello is no longer there.

Finally got around to viewing the photos that come with the video, mostly excellent, but not all trips were covered. However, the drone shots above Isla de la Plata are stunning.

One oddity, all the guests who got their certificates on the Venetian night also have their photos of receiving it from the Captain included. Not sure that all guests would be happy for that.
