Benefits of Booking a Suite?

Other than a, slightly, larger cabin, are there any benefits to booking a suite on a non-Oasis class or non-Anthem class ship?

They do get coffee machine, priority embarkation,  bathtub (most of the time), and slightly better toiletries.

 

I did forget to include an extra C&A point per night for suites, and JS does get that

Thanks to all who replied.  Dinner and lunch are , apparently, all in the main dining room, so it comes down to slightly larger room, slightly nicer cocktail hour--looks like benefits are significantly less than on the larger ships.

Not sure but we will find out in March when we are in the 4 bedroom suite on Liberty.  We are finding out that if you want any of the extra items (drink package, dining package, internet, other misc) it is almost cheaper to sail on a Star Class ship and  book a Star Class room.

If you dont mind, how much is your 4 bedroom?

We sail Allure in an A1, and the base cost is $10,900 for first two, and $875 pp for the next 6.

Now this is a 12 day TA, so the extra person cost is ridiculously cheap considering all the perks

Drink, Dining, and Voom pkg would be $1,136 if purchased separately, and that doesn't give any value for the Genie privledges

It is 7 days and there will be 5 of us.  Cost was around $11,000.  We were on Oasis in an A1 and it was cheaper than the Liberty trip will be and it was for 5 also.  We loved the A1 and would love to book one again.

Don't know if you could get an A2 any cheaper but they are the same only a deck higher.

That was our room on Oasis.  If this is the first time you will love it.  You can see both ocean and aqua theater.  It was a bucket list room for us and we would book again in a heart beat.

I would say more than "slightly larger". Depends on the ship but ROUGHLY, 

a JS is 50% bigger than a regular balcony, 

a GS is 100% bigger than a regular balcony, 

a OS is almost 200% bigger than a regular balcony

Technically,  I have an A1 and an A2 for now. 😉

I upgraded to the A1 for the OBC from NextCruise.

just do it - a GS or above

suite lounge,

you also get tender priority, which is awesome with a lot of tendered ports.

reserved seating in theater/shows.

usually a suite only sun deck too?

Is your A1 Star Class because on the Cruises Only web site it is showing Sky Class for all the Oasis class ships.  When we were in the A1 it was Star Class.
