erniebernie Posted October 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2019 HI I just saw a post asking about flights to Canada through Cunard and was wondering if they do them from new Zealand? Arriving Vancouver September 2020.
lissie Posted October 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2019 I don't think so. I'm looking at a cruise ex-Sydney and the site isn't offering me any flights as an add-on. Just an overpriced airport transfer. I'm in Wellington.
Rare Jack E Dawson Posted October 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2019 I think your best bet is to call Cunard Customer Service directly on that question.

Rare Windsurfboy Posted October 16, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 16, 2019 Given what airlines charge for singles. Have you tried Cunard the long way round via London.
Rare Jack E Dawson Posted October 16, 2019 #10 Share Posted October 16, 2019 erniebernie, I just looked at a couple of flight search engines and found a number of roundtrip fares from Christchurch to Vancouver in the mid-U$800 range for the September 2020 time period. That is in economy. I have had the pleasure to visit New Zealand on more than a dozen occasions and treasure my time there. A beautiful country filed with beautiful people. Having done international sales most of my career, it is my opinion that Air New Zealand is one of the best airlines in the world. Jack
Rare Windsurfboy Posted October 16, 2019 #11 Share Posted October 16, 2019 At that price even if you want a one way, buy the return JackEDawson has found and just dont use the return
erniebernie Posted October 18, 2019 Author #12 Share Posted October 18, 2019 Thanks for your replies Windsurfboy im not a good flier so the least time I have to be up there the better so we will be flying direct to vancouver non stop. Jack E Dawson yes it is a great place to live and we will be on Air NZ got a price fron T/A $1600 thats for NZ to Vancover then Tokyo to NZ at end of cruise. The only thing wrong with NZ is that its so far from anywhere oops except Australia.
Rare Jack E Dawson Posted October 19, 2019 #13 Share Posted October 19, 2019 Sorry erniebernie, I didn't realize you were flying into Vancouver but back home from Tokyo. Based on my experience, $1600 on ANZ for that route is a very good deal. Although almost a year away, I hope you will share your voyage experience with the rest of us.
