Will I need a cardigan

Hi, I’m going on the Westerdam in November sailing from Hong Kong.  My question is was is the temperature like inside the ship, does the air-con make it cold, should bring a cover up or is it hot.  TYI

There is a trend in all public buildings to keep them cool to cut down on germs, reportedly.   I would bring at least the same cover you use on a chilly airplane ride.  Also evenings at sea can be cool.

Honestly I pack a sweater while on board to me it does get chilly

yes.......inside public space like dining rooms and theaters we always needs sleves....

I always take a shawl with me on all ships.  There are some places that are cooler than others.

As the old saying goes, "If you don't pack it and want it, it's too bad.  If you do pack it and don't need it, no harm done."  I find that I'm more comfortable if my arms are covered, even during the day, in the public rooms.  Most HAL ships keep these rooms extremely cool, IMO.  

 

You won't regret packing a cardigan/shawl.

The dining room is always too chilly for me.  I bring a wrap.
