Using Prime Casino Royale Certificate after booking

We made prime in the casino so I know we will get a free 7 day cruise to use April 1. Can we book a cruise now and then use that cert towards the price once we receive it?  Thank you!

May I ask, how do you become Prime for the Casino is it based on how much you play on 1 cruise or over a few cruises?

It’s based on making it to 2500 points. It could be over a year or just one cruise.

It has to be for a sailing between 4/1/20 and 3/31/21. You can use your prime cruise on a cruise you already booked as long as it is not past final payment. Royal will give you the cheapest interior cabin rate off your booking. 

Give yourself 2 weeks extra, because the prime rewards aren’t always available to use on 4/1.

Long after I booked a cruise (and well before casino offers for that time period), I called the casino to see what offers I had floating out there.  Turns out they gave me a $1250 credit towards the November cruise we had booked.  Well worth calling and asking.

We were on the Harmony 9/22. We were told by Club Royale we only needed 200 pts.

for free drinks and a free cruise. We met beautiful Tatiana and she told us our 2300

pts. expired the end of March. We were realllly pissed off. 

We gambled and lost having 1100 points on this cruise. Took a week back to Tampa

and jumped back on 10./6. Same great waiters and room steward. 🙂

We earned 2500 points and asked Tatiana about our "Free"

 cruise.

She told us we should read the fine print as it is only given if you spend 12,500

gambling on one cruise. Thanks for all the Bullshit advertising.  Two cruises in 3 weeks and we do not get our cruise they push allllll week?  My wife stayed in the casino  late every night as we were still mad about them taking our earlier 2300 Pts.  As platinum

members we also very much enjoyed RCL giving us a coupon for one "bogo" offer for a glass of wine.

 How can they afford to give away a free glass of wine??

We also got "Swatted" by someone who called 911 on us at 1:30 am on the last formal night with

half a dozen rapid response security that treated me like a dog. I repeatedly

asked for an apology from the head of security and was ignored even after

4 or five calls and contacting floor security. We spent 10k for these two cruises,

tipped staff profusely, passed out 60 lbs. of chocolates to our cruise staff,

and still want what happened at 1:30 AM  at our cabin door to be addressed. Two guys in silk suits with body cams, four more men with their game faces on, I was shocked and traumatized.

CLOSE YOUR DOOR AND STAY IN YOUR ROOM is the last thing I heard from

the RCCL emergency SWAT team... 😞  I am upset and very sad.

Their response was uncalled for, Period.

what do you mean if you spend 12,500 in one cruise? Are you saying $12,500 in dollars? Because if so that is not the case.

Tatiana told us we needed 2500 points> ie: x $5 per point on one cruise for

the complimentary offer, and we should read the fine print. She is the casino

hostess, and that again is what she told my wife. We did not get a free cruise.

I highly recommend you call the casino royale phone number as you should have received a free cruise certificate for reaching 2500 points.  The certificate would be for an interior cabin on select cruises.  Usual list has about 20 cruises to choice from.

Plus you are now prime.

Now the point system is per person not combined.  So if one person got a total of 2500 points on one cruise you deserve certificate and need to call casino number.

If one person has cumulative 2500 points from couple cruises that makes you prime for April 1st 2020 thru march 31st 2021.  And entitles you and one guest to an interior cabin for any non holiday cruise of 8 nights or less for free other than port and tax fees.  You can pay to upgrade your cabin.

Plus as prime you get free alcohol in casino when open.

In response to initial question.   First. Congratulations on becoming a prime member.  You will love all the free cruises you get offered plus the automatic annual free cruise.  

Yes you can book a cruise now to reserve your preferred cabin as long as final payment isn't do before approx july 10th 2020.   

I.e.  both of us are prime and we are booked for a b2b cruise next august.  As soon as our prime membership is validated in april I will call the casino number and have them converted to our annual freebies.

I paid a 500 deposit for each of them but I also booked oceanview cabins so the 500 will be applied towards the upgrade port fees taxes and travel insurance I always purchase

 

We have received free cruise offers in the mail every month since july.  These are extra freebies and we have booked 3 of them so far.  Plus we won a free cruise while we were on free cruise in september to bermuda.   You will love the prime perks!!

We have our door tricked out for Halloween, with witches, dracula, ghosts, and so

forth.

Someone left their lunch and dinner on the carpet in front of our room.

The last time I tossed my cookies was at Florida State (Strawberry Boones Farm)

in 1973.

My wife and kids were at the white hot party, and I was almost asleep when the

door was loudly banged on, I have a broken back and told them I was coming.

They said they had to search my room, and asked if I was travelling alone, even though

there were beds set up for 4 with stuffed animals. I said, please come on  in and offered them chocolates.

No apology amid multiple requests the next day. Close your door and stay in your room!

On a more positive note, Our special son got 4.99999999 out of 5

and was adopted by the ship in the belly flop contest. I'll try to get the video

up, it will

brighten your day! Do not miss the quest on friday nite at 11pm, that's where I was

before coming back to our room around 12:30 am....

I could not sleep as I was very upset (traumatized). I found my wife and

son

in the Money Maker at 2:30 and told them what happened.

We were on The Largest Ship in the World in 1990, the rcl Sovereign

of the Seas in 1990. 

Carol Lawrence  popped in, also the Amazing Kreskin who picked 6 watches on his way in, and the headliner, who we met getting on the ship  around 8 pm in Puerto Rico with

tons of Louis suitcases. Jerry  Lewis...... Laaaady! It was a great cruise.
