B2B on Sky next week. Turnaround day question

Recommended Posts

I’ll be on Sky next week for a B2B.  Can anyone let me know what to expect from turnaround day in Mimi? I will be changing cabins, so I know I’ll need to pack up everything to be moved.  What should I expect as far as clearing customs, needing to leave the ship and reboard, etc? I’ve never done a B2B before, and it’s super exciting!

You will get a letter from Guest Services explaining the procedure for your B2B.

The last time I did this (not on The Sky), I was told to meet at a specific location on board and we were led off, cleared Customs and led back on again.  It is a really simple procedure.

Normally you will receive a letter in your cabin on the first sailing telling you where you have to go and what time on turnaround day. In most cases you will meet other back to back cruisers in one of the lounges or bars. You will be escorted off the ship and taken to an area where you will receive your seapass for the second sailing. You will then have the option of reboarding the ship with the rest of the back to back cruisers or getting an In Transit pass which makes it easier for you to reboard later in the day. If you reboard with the group they normally have a special type luncheon for back to back cruisers. You should also have access to your new cabin once you reboard. You should also receive your statement for the first sailing before you are escorted off the ship. I have done a few back to backs and never had a problem. In my case my family stayed in the same cabin on both sailings.
