After the cruise I am flying out of Orlando International, on thing my flight doesn't leave until 7pm.  So my question is what can I do to kill time and where can a keep my luggage until it's flight time?

how about  a tour with your cruise line that drops you at the airport after the tour

The Hyatt in the airport offers day rooms. You can nap, swim, etc.

Rent a car, bags go in the trunk, and do what you want.  Beach? Kennedy Space Center? Sea World? Outlet mall?

What to do if you just stepped off a cruise ship at Port Canaveral and have 5-8 hours before your flight?

Book a day room at the Hyatt.  We did this before and it was wonderful!

I would book a day room at a nice hotel, order lunch poolside, and have a great pool day.

We have used Orlando Bag Storage near Disney Springs to store our bags when we had a late flight after our cruise. We also had the bags delivered to the airport for a small additional fee, worked out great for us.

JohninDC is right...rent a car and you can do whatever you like. I would definitely drive to Orlando and spend the day there. Traveling with kids? There are many places they will enjoy in Orlando: Disney Springs (free), Gatorland (low fee), Orlando Eye (i'm not sure it is the correct name) and many other places.

If you do not want to drive and can choose only one attraction you would like to visit - hire a transportation company that offers luggage storage. We use STAR TRANS VIP. I don't think they offer luggage storage for those interested in spending a day at KSC. But i'm sure there are companies that offer that.

We were in the same situation , we rented a car and visited one of the theme parks..
