noise on Deck 8 Konigsdam

Travelling for 10 days. Cabin will be on 8169. Has anyone travelled on Deck 8 Konigsdam. Was it noisy from pool etc above?

8169 is located under the Sea View Bar, which may have some noise issues.  You may hear chairs scrape as passengers sit or leave from this area.  It's also one of the few places people can smoke.  If you like to sleep late, you may be in trouble, as you're going to hear some noise from that deck.

Probably depends on how many smokers use that area at night.  I'm guessing that it shouldn't be as noisy as during the day.  At least, you're going in knowing there may be an issue.  Far better than thinking this cabin will be 100% quiet.

Thanks. We are also interested as we are just a few cabins away and are going on a 10 day cruise in February.  Any information is appreciated.

We were on deck 8 on Koningsdam.  We could hear things occasionally but it was not overly noticeable or bothersome.  Happy sailing!
