We have a long day docked in P in February.  Lunch and dinner off the ship are certainly possibilities. Looking for recommendations for something uniquely Polynesian. Thanks

Go to the food trucks after 6:30 pm which is right next to the area for the ships. Plenty of Polynesian type places, some French influences and the Asian fusion 😉

Uniquely Polynesian in Papeete would be French. We love Le Souffle....wonderful souffles, wonderful everything. About 3-4 blocks from where your ship will dock in the center of Papeete. It's just like Paris with sidewalk and indoor tables too. Great atmosphere, terrific food, nice wine list- one of our favorite places to dine anywhere. Lunch and dinner. Look it up on Google and Tripadvisor....54 Rue Paul Gauguin, Papeete.

And I like the food trucks too as TBK has suggested.
