B2B discount?

When we went B2B, each cruise was treated separately and we got 2 perks and onboard credit for each, as standalone cruises. Didn’t get anything for booking B2B themselves.

Celebrity U.K. gave £100 per cruise discount on a B2B.  (Reflection 10 & 11night cruises - Nov 2020)

Our U.K. travel agent was unable to give the discount and advised me to book direct with Celebrity to get the discount and tell them that I wished to transfer the booking to them afterwards.  Celebrity asked why and emphasised that they would equal the TA’s discount which was 11% below Celebrity U.K. list price and give us the additional £200 for the B2B. Also I only needed to pay the deposit for the first cruise (£300)not both cruises.  I accepted as I now have a great deal with the additional benefit of being able to transfer my booking free of any charges before FP as an elite member’s perk if the need arises.

The length of the cruise will be applicable. In the UK B2B discounts are :-

7-9 Night Sailings - £32.00

10 Night or Greater Sailings - £64.00

The savings are per cruise so if you booked a 7 night cruise followed by a 10 night sailing you would receive a total saving of £96.00.

Please note that these discounts are total and not per person. There are some travel agency rates that they are not combinable with, so if you do book with a travel agent, please make sure they check if the discount is applicable.

Again, speak to your TA at the point of booking. Many appear not to know about these with the UK's largest 'cruise specialist' stating that there are no back to back savings with Celebrity UK which is according to Celebrity UK themselves, incorrect!!!!

I currently have a B2B2B booked.  Got a $100 discount on the first cruise and $50 for each of the other cruises.  Who knows what the "system" is???

Normally length of cruise. If first is 10-11 days & other 2 are 7

Always ask for the b2 b discount sometimes the travel agents says no and if you push them to request it I’ve always received it.

This was for all legs of the cruises, as said it’s 50usd under 10 nights and 100 on 10 nt and above

Not correct - we had £100 discount for each of our B2B cruises, directly with Celebrity UK.

Actually you are incorrect. Celebrity UK confirmed this via Facebook by message just today.

I don't need a Facebook message to confirm anything.

I just refer to my INVOICE which states £100 per cruise discount. A total of £200 discount............FACT.

In the same way I don't need a randomer on the internet to post misinformation. I'll just get confirmation from the company concerned. :)

Just emailed him fella. Waddya think?

Dear Jay at the Weybridge office

You're people manning your Facebook page and in your call center are quoting me BSB discount amounts depending on the length of cruises booked with yourselves on 01/11/2019.

There is some internet randomer who's getting his knickers in a twist online because he claims he was given a different amount to what your colleagues are telling other people. It could be that things have changed since he made his booking, it is known to happen with Celebrity after all. A clerical error could have been made. Or it could be different cruise lengths attract different discounts. He seems incapable of considering any of that. Can you please confirm before he experiences cardiac arrest, voids his travel insurance and is no longer able to benefit from his B2B discount?

Kind regards
