USING CARNIVAL CORP GIFT CARDS TO PAY FOR HAL CRUISE

Is it possible to use Carnival Corp gift cards to pay for a portion of our upcoming HAL cruise?  We would like to use some of our credit card reward points which allow us to buy these gift cards.  We would of had to book directly with the credit card travel department to initially use the points but prefer booking with our personal TA.

Under the Carnival Corp. umbrella, there are Carnival, HAL, and Princess gift cards.  You need to use the cruise line specific ones, in this instance, HAL.
