I would just turn it back on them if they were too nasty. I had one person say something to me about being young and fit that I shouldn't need the lift, I just said, I may not need the lift but it was going my way anyway.

Exactly. I have a dodgy knee too. Most of the time it's fine but if I've been sitting for a while, like at dinner in the MDR, it will take several minutes to loosen up again. Anyone who saw me walking then, and then saw me doing laps on the Promenade deck would probably wonder whether I was faking it in the MDR.


I usually use the lifts, especially going down as going down stairs seems to put more strain on my knee than going.
