Internet plans - which one ?

Recommended Posts

I browsed the internet packages and thought they were on the high side.  We need a plan to cover 2 devices.  Basically texting, email, Facebook and Instagram. Can I get the cheaper packages of surfing internet and get on social media ? Any suggestions and cost? Thank you for your help.

Currently on the eclipse.  Surf is fine for email.  Text will depend on device.  Ok on my pixel, doesn't work on my wife's Moto g6.  Facebook, youtube, Instagram don't work on either.

I don't think surf allows you to post anything more than text and you won't be able to view picture content.  You could opt for a one device package.  Its one device at a time - not one overall.  So you would just switch from device to device as you need.  Or wait until you are on shore and use a local WiFi point?

I thought surf would be ok for Facebook so long as not viewing/posting videos

just can't stream anything so no youtube, netflix, video calls

but I haven't tried it

would like to know as we leave next week - plan to purchase a 2 device surf package for 4 of us to share.

hopefully others who have had this package will post and share their experiences.

Currently in the Eclipse with the surf package and I am able to text, email, including sending photos, read the newspapers, surf the web however I haven’t been able to get on IG.  Don’t use FB so cant comment on that.
