Junior Suite Boarding

Hey Cruisers

 

We have a Junior Suite booked on Adventure next month. First time staying in a JS. Do the Junior Suites board with the other suites ? Or will we be boarding with our Crown & Anchor status ?

A few have reported some sort of JS priority but I’ve never seen it. After (full) suite/ pinnacle is called,  it will likely be Key, then then the other C&A categories.   
 

You likely know the process is relatively quick

When we've stayed in a JS, we were boarding with the Suites.  One trip as a JS, we were 5 and 6 on the ship, other than pinnacles and B2B folks.  We are currently only Emerald, so it wasn't status.  Unless that has changed, but we will find out in about 6 weeks!

Normally, you check in with Suites, but are called to board right after full suites.

Whether I had GS or JS, always checked in at Suite line.  Never board early thus don't know boarding order.  Just checked in and went onboard.

Just got off the Adventure 2 weeks ago and in a junior suite.  We arrived at the terminal and checked in and  boarding passes scan    pier 29  at luggage screening area just inside  front door   around 1015am.  pier 29 is the pits but had two rows for suites and pinns and then 3 rows for Keys.  Key people were sitting in suite row and some suites had no were to sit. We were called and also behind us were keys. You  boarding pass says SUITES not jr. or other. We always book jr with the exception of a couple grands for the last 20 cruises or so and always board with  suite call in Canaveral  pier 1, Ft. Lauderdale pier 18 and 29 and Tampa.   WE  are Diamond plus and have purple color code and if you have  diamond, emerald, etc make sure you tell that employee when you enter and show suite  print on pass or they will send you along with all other C&A colors and general boarding.   Bob & Nancy

Boarding had already began when I arrived in September. I walked up the escalator in Miami and was directed to the sign that said priority or something similar.

We always sail in JS or GS, and we always board with the rest of the suites when we are in a JS. With the new boarding/seapass system, we don't actually get our physical seapass cards until we get to our cabin, and the boarding passes just say "Suite" on them. There's no way for anyone in the terminal to know what type of suite you're in unless you are sailing out of a port that hasn't adopted the new process yet, and still get the physical seapass cards at check-in.

Yes, you may get in the "suite" check in line.

Yes you do as my last cruise was on adventure in a Junior Suite.

Usually get js, and board and check in with the suites. Priority embarktion is part of your js perks. 

And as other have stated your boarding pass says suite. You may have to point this out to port employees. 

When I enter the port area I always ask where suites go say for check in or waiting.

All suites in the Royal Caribbean Suites program have access to a dedicated check-in line for boarding, in-suite Mr. Coffee/Tea service, personalized service from a suite attendant, and a luxurious Cappuccino Pillow Top mattress. Our Junior Suites, Grand Suites, Ocean View/ Panoramic (No Balcony) Suites, and Owner’s Suites all receive priority boarding, and our Royal Suite and Villa Suite guests are escorted onboard by an officer.

We have used the Suites check-in and boarded with the “regular” Suites when booked in a JS. We just do what the port agents tell us to do.

Priority boarding is one of the only perk for junior suite.
