Welcome drinks

We usually get 3-4 bottles of water in our cabin on embarking.

I believe we can change it to soda or beer as we don’t use the water.

I emailed crown &anchor and they said we have to make a selection up to 14 days before the cruise. But it doesn’t say how to make the selection.

I thought I would ask here as I find people here more on the ball.

Call Crown & Anchor Society and set up your preference.  I think the number (in the US) is (800) 762-0585.

There are specific choices available, but I am unable to find the list.  Once you make your choice, it will be set for subsequent cruises unless you change it.

A small number of bottled water is given as a gift, not listed as a C&A perk anywhere, outside of the selectable welcome aboard beverage.  The number of bottles seems random, sometimes 2, 3, 4, etc.

Hi - I'm not aware of the welcome drinks?  Can someone explain?  Thanks!

At the Emerald C&A level and above, you have a choice of a welcome aboard beverage.  Contact C&A to make your choice.

Here’s the email response .

It appears I have to select 14 days before each cruise.

I will call them a try to make a selection.

Hi, the welcome drink is per person, Not per household as they write!

The D+ amenity is per household.

But at least they admit it exists! I’ve got friends who were told by RCI Australia that the C&A amenities were only for the USA 🤷‍♀️!!

From reading on this forum, you nominate a standing request.

The email suggests you have to order each cruise.

I’ll give them a call 2 weeks before,

we sail in 3.5 weeks.

We just don’t use the water.

No you don’t!
They set your preference and it remains until you call and change it again.
I have a standing order for Diet Coke and Pinot Grigio!  It’s been that option for years!
The water is always delivered. Quantity of bottles varies!

That’s why I asked here, people here seem to know the facts better than R C.

Or maybe they do it different down under???
