Twoday - I was responding to BIGADORF who can't find one of his/her bookings on Ocean Ready.  I should have made my question more specific to ask if all 3 bookings were OM cruises.  I think non OM bookings won't show on Ocean Ready.  Thank you for taking the time to compose your response to me.

I just checked Princess' website and I got this list of Medallion Class ships:

I think twodaywonder posted the list of ships with MedallionNet internet service, not Medallion Class Cruises.  As you can see, Coral won't have the Medallion Class (and Ocean Ready) until next October.  MedallionNet is just the name of Princess' new onboard internet service.  Medallion Class are cruises that use the Medallion and Ocean Medallion.

That's supposed to be the case but most of the other apps won't work until you are onboard the MedallionClass ship and signed in on that ship's network.

1. Yes, I use m,y phone to enter the info for both of us.

2. He will need the App on his phone, or tablet in order to order a drink or find you.

3. He will not have to enter anything.

Hi not sure if this is where I should ask this question....we were just on the Royal and saw that you can play bingo anywhere...well we didnt have the ocean casino downloaded so were not able to do that...now we have it downloaded...question is next time we are on a medallion ship and they offer bingo how does it work.  Does it do like their tablets do and dag the #s and tell us when we are one away?  What happens if we win...who do we shout bingo to and collect our winnings?  Let me know if this should be put on the general princess site vs this thread....

I have the app downloaded.  Got the picture done... Did the PIN... NOW here is the question:

 

HOW can you get the picture/scan of the passports to work?  I have too much glare- but I need the light to  get a picture- HOW did you get  the app to scan the passport?  (I was doing this at night and I kept getting reduce the glare message).

I made a color copy of the passport page and took a photo of that.

We scanned in daylight near a window. Not in direct sunlight.

Did ocean ready in sept for 12/7 sky princess. Ordered medallions same time said they would ship 2 weeks before. Checked order and it says pick up medallions at terminal. I see were others have recieved theirs already. Has this happened to anyone else.

This happened to us on the CB in July, then the Medallions were delivered about 2 weeks before the cruise. It's a classic, Left hand, meet Right hand. LOL. In fact, after we received them it still said to pick them up at the terminal.

According to Princess' OceanCompass Shipmates video, once on board, you can add new people using your mobile device.  I think they need to agree to be added to your OceanCompass.

I am new to medallion cruising. I downloaded the app and took care of everything including uploading passports with no problems. My brother is cruising in another cabin and not computer savvy at all. I downloaded the medallion app for him but when I click on the "get ocean ready" tab I get a message saying "could not start ocean ready".  I tried different devices, apple and android, no luck.  Is there another app we are supposed to download also? Anyone else experience this problem?

I don't think you need to download another OceanReady app.  As I understand it, you can sign yourself out from your Ocean Ready app and then create a new log in with your brother's information.

1) can I add personal items on My Activities— specialty Dining reservations / Sanctuary  Booking ??

 

2). On daily activities, will “ Elite” programs/offers be shown for me ??

I  just wanted to say THANKS!!!!

This did work!!!  I'll admit I'm too cheap to do a color print of a passport... BUT taking the picture in day light near a window did work perfect!

So... for anyone who is fighting the scan in the evening- do a daytime scan. 🙂
