Edge Elite Evening Cocktail Hour

I board Edge in a couple of days.  I have read a couple  different versions. Elite cocktail hour is from 5-7pm and is located in the Club lounge on deck 4, you may also choose to have unlimited drinks (from the elite cocktail menu) at various bars throughout the ship during the mentioned time frame.  Does this accurately describe the event? Thanks!

I believe the reason to go to the "Club Lounge" is for the complementary hors d'oeurves. Several have stated you only get 3 drinks at select bars (much like RCCL) throughout the ship but I read another article which stated unlimited. So, in a nutshell this is what I would like clarified.

Sorry, I can't find it, the email.  I'm beginning to think maybe it was a letter I got in the mail.  Anyway, I have the prem drink package next time so I didn't pay much attention to it.   I 'think' it might have said/been unlimited.  Basically it allows elite level's to gather at any bar and get their free drinks rather than the one bar.  I've noticed at the elite stuff there is a lot of small groups of couples that know each other from other X trips.  I 'have' to have the drink package so I've never gotten that excited about it but it is a nice, usually quite, place to have a beer, LOL!

This explains the Captain's Club Elite Cocktail Hour - there is some specific Edge info. There may be some changes if a lot of Elites and above onboard (such as on a Transatlantic), such as using another venue for the canapes or excluding other bars.

Yes. Like always you will receive a detail letter in your stateroom on embarkation day detailing all your perk, events, times and places.

We just got off the trans atlantic Edge.  The Elite cocktail hour is held in the club.  There are hors d'oeuvres passed.  However, we thought the best benefit was the ability to get a "good" seat for the 7.15pm show.

There are also unlimited drinks from the captain's club cocktail menu from 5-7pm in most bars (does not include Magic Carpet).

I was recently on equinox and elite status and its unlimited between those hours. I was even able to get my free drink at the casino. Once went to Martini bar prior to dinner and was served. So any bar except dining room.

As this says, I think the World Class Bar is the only bar not available for Elite drinks on the Equinox. 🙂

You are pretty accurate.    I was on a B2B on Edge.   First cruise they had Elite Cocktail hour in The Club as well as 5-7 most bars or dining rooms you could get unlimited drinks from the CC Menu.   On the second cruise, which was a TA, there were 2,100 Elite and above so they did it in both The Club and Eden as well as the free drinks through out the ship.   I've never seen Eden so packed.

Unbelievable....2100 Elites on one sailing!!....Celebrity has come a long way since my first cruise on the Horizon 20+ years ago lol.....Back then you actually had to pay to become a member of the Captains Club.

Omg that's crazy. I'm elite but got the premium package as a perk on my upcoming Apex cruise. Where will they hold the CC happy hour?  I'm on the 3rd or 4th sailing Mediterranean cruise next may.  I like the happy hour as I meet the same people every night.

As a rule it has been in the Club on the Edge for the last several months (Eden for larger crowds has been reported). It will interesting to see where it will be on the Apex. They may have taken feedback and changed it up. I will let you know on 4/5/20. 🙂

Great. Thank you my sailing is May 30th. 7 night italy France Monaco and Spain. I'm in the process of looking at shore excursions and getting so confused. I didn't really like most of celebrity's offerings,  expensive and they're not as detailed as other companies I've seen.

They sometimes add more as the cruise gets closer. I usually arrange my own. I did book the Chef's Market Tour in Bilbao - those are always wonderful, though pricey. 🙂

Have you been on your Roll Call? People often organize some independent tours and invite others. We've had great tours that way (both organizing our own and joining others).

I love food tours but going with a friend and not sure if she'd be interested. Yes I registered roll call same day as I booked the cruise in August but it's not very active. I'm sure it will pick up as time goes on. Please provide any tips you may have all are welcome. 😀
