Great Stirrup Cay Island

We went there twice on a five day cruise. The first time we rented a clamshell (vented) and the second time we rented a cabana. I put up a bunch of pictures in my review:

I’ve heard drinks package not included in Harvest Cay the other private island in Belize? Anyone know for sure?
Our next cruise includes both places.

Drink package is not included at Harvest Cay.  Also, no free food on Harvest Cay.

Drinks are not included on Harvest Cay.  The Island is still run by Belize.  Vendors charge for everything.  Food and drinks at Landshark are pretty expensive.  Bring a CC/cash if you plan to purchase anything. Very nice island resort though.

Can you use the shore credit to rent umbrellas?? How do you go about doing this? Thank you!

This may have changed, but when we were there 2 years ago... the casino never closed, it was like a sea day!

The cruises I've been on I'm pretty sure the casino was open while we were in GSC

Was just googling about and came across this description of future GSC improvements from the construction company that did the previous improvements at GSC and is currently buidling the new terminal in Miami. I wonder if COVID has cancelled any of these plans and what may be actually coming:

 

"NCL is embarking on design and construction of Phase III at Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. Facilities include a new pier which can accommodate two passenger ships simultaneously, water attractions, pools, a lazy river and new beaches. A new Bahamian Village will be constructed with food and beverage venues for guests as well as dormitories for service staff along with supporting infrastructure for water, sewer, and power systems."

If they were doing it I highly doubt much money is going out at this time.
