If you have refundable OBC, you can get the cash at Guest relations (we did on the last day of the cruise) or they will refund it to your Credit card 2 or 3 days after the cruise ends.

Thanks, but I meant during the cruise in the casino.

@dani negreanu - if you find your way works please let me know on Apex!

I intend to set up a "cash" account, and try the "Royal Caribbean" method. At the moment we're on #7244, but I'm on the lookout for another cabin - turns out this one is "obstructed".

I'll let you know if I manage to change to another number.

I know you're on a GTY, so just leave me a voice mail in the cabin.

Quick ?

If I just want to use some OBC in the casino (I know there is 5% fee) do I just go to the customer relations desk or to the cage in the casino.

Thanks,

Yes.  You can go to the cashier desk in the casino, and have them load on board credit into your account.  You then access it through the personal bank function on the slot machine and your 4 digit PiN which is month and year of your birthday (May 1 would be 0501). You can cash out and keep your winnings.  If you are careful you can't lose more than the on board credit (if you have $100 on board credit and are playing a $5 slot machine, play 20 times.  Whatever is left in your account after the 20 spins is your cash to keep) .

We usually use our non refundable OBC to buy slot credits on a day when there is a buy in bonus.  The $$ stays on

your cards so you always have it handy if you drop you the casino.  We play video poker instead of slots and

usually break about even.  Sometimes a little up and sometimes a little down.  On a 9 day cruise in November

2019 we won $44 "laundering" $500 OBC.  We enjoy the non smoking casino on Celebrity and find playing

video poker together entertaining.  If you see a couple keeping track of video poker hands played with hash marks

on a cocktail napkin that might be us.  When we download $100 we want to only play it through once in the

"laundering" process.

So is everyone saying you must play all your NR OBC once?  On Princess we might have $250 OBC but only played about $20 worth on video poker and then cashed all of the remaining out.  Once the NR OBC was loaded into the machine there was no difference between it and cash on the account.
