Does the purchase of in room alcoholic beverages count against the drink package?

I can’t imagine it NOT counting against your account. They keep close tabs on everything.

I don't think purchasing a bottle for your room has anything to do with your drink package, if you're speaking of Cheers. 

They are two separate purchases, and with Cheers, they count the drinks you get from the bars against your card daily.

They would have no way to track how many times you pour a drink in your room.

If you're talking about bottles, no, those don't count towards Cheers - you pay for those separately. 

 

Drinks ordered through room service are also not included.

And to cover all bases, if in room, you mean the stuff that used to be fridge, they are no longer stocked, and are now empty.

So they charge the drink price to your account at retail + “ delivery charge” and outside they go against regular Cheers package?

After trying to get my “moneys worth” and feeling bloated after the cruise I’m going with the OVER PRICED room bottle, and I’ll be paying  ala cart our next cruise.

I look forward to seeing your room service results..

If you order a cocktail through room service, you will be charged menu price to your sail & sign account, as if you didn't have Cheers.  Not sure about delivery charges, as we just run to the bar.  Lol

If talking room service you can not use your cheers for room service but can order those since you are paying for those

Nope!  I called them asked them this before my last sailing.  But you do have to pay for those.  Just make sure you pre-order before cruise, or do it before you hit 15 or they won't let you get it.
