Punta del Este Uruguay Beach and beach clubs

We would like to go to the beach in Punta del Este this January.  Any advice?  We are considering La Susana Beach Club as an option.

It is about a 30 minute drive from Punta del Este in José Ignacio.  The beaches in Punta are nice if you just want a beach plus there are also many popular restaurants.

The most popular are Playa Mansa and Playa Brava with the latter having more waves and surfers. Playa Mansa is popular with families and for swimming.
