Safari from Cape Town

In Cape Town next April looking to do a day safari any suggestions for companies to use thanks

Any chance your cruise first stops in Durbin?  If so, try Phinda Game Reserve

then fly to Cape Town to rejoin your cruise.  Truly spectacular.

Thanks tcdcruiser ,we are starting our cruise in capetown then cruising to Durban but not sure on times we in Durban yet but will have a look at that link thanks

A couple of day safari locations that do Cape Town pick ups are Aquila and Fairy Glen. Twelve years ago we visited Aquila https://www.aquilasafari.com/?gclid=CjwKCAiA8qLvBRAbEiwAE_ZzPaFhY4F5awED7r7wBT2B50OKkMrs1oTMGSkY7wqeonbumZrbQ9H2RhoCTzIQAvD_BwE and whilst it was fun, it wasn’t a patch on safaris done in the Kruger and Eastern Cape since.

If you don’t have much time in Cape Town, there are lots of more worthwhile things to see and do in the city and surrounding area. Save your safari experience for a location where you will be guaranteed a better experience.

While you can find some safaris, they are more like a wild animal park. I would treat it like a city stop and not a safari.

Ok sounds like a mini safari would be like going through a good zoo so maybe come bk sometime to do a proper safari, thanks for the help though
