The Observation Lounge (OL) is supposed to be a great space with forward facing windows to enjoy the view.  Unfortunately...

If it helps you feel any better, you're in the Caribbean and missed a cold windy day in the Peach State.

Of course, there are very few people here this early, but I suspect this will reach critical mass by 11:00 am...

I thought I saw a sign in another review that said no bare feet was allowed on the furniture. They had to at least be in socks.

Shows:  I know you never go to "Shows", but I would love to hear feedback about Kinky Boots.  We all know Choir of Man is not to be missed, but Kinky Boots has like zero reviews thus far.  NCL prided themselves on this Show in their reveal.  Can you help others who may want to cruise on this ship about Kinky Boots? Yeah, "shows" are subjective, but...

I didn't want to drink any more, so I decided to catch the Beatles at the Cavern Club... The show had already started when I arrived, and it was packed... I stood in the crowded doorway for a few minutes, then made my move to somewhere around the outer rim... The only problem was, that no matter where I went, I would be standing in front of someone. I had more than a few angry people complain that I was blocking their views... (To be clear, this wasn't the actual real Beatles, only a cover band) Eventually, I found a spot to stand where at least I wasn't getting yelled at... They played mostly old, old stuff to begin with, but played some well known numbers as well...

 

After a while, I was able to find a spot by the wall, where at least I wasn't blocking anyone. If you squinted your eyes just enough, it was almost like watching the real Beatles. I have no idea where they found a left handed bass player that also looked a lot like Paul McCartney...

If there is such a sign, everyone was clearly ignoring it... I'll look tomorrow.

I just took my first walk through the casino, and dang, it is packed... Now, I don't want to openly criticize people who gamble, but there are so many more fun things to do on the ship that don't involve the possibility of losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars... I know that people do win sometimes, but the reason the entire thing exists is that people lose most of the time...

So True! My husband and I used to gamble every night and missed out on so much! We did get a couple of free cruises out of it, but realized we had more fun not spending all our time there. Of course those free cruises were not free! Thanks so much for your entertaining trip report!

I'll bite, you posted it twice and no one noticed?

Just catching up, because I've been at work, great start to your review. We have sailed NCL twice years ago, the "New" Dawn, and the "New" Jewel. Haven't been back for no apparent reason, we just don't like the giant ships.
