My 1st Live Review Harmony Dec. 1 - 8

Recommended Posts

I think I’ve coveted everything I meant to. This review was a spur of the moment thing. I ran into a couple problems I didn’t anticipate.  For instance, I took pictures with my iPhone because it has a much better camera. But typing information on it was a pain. However, we were relying on the free internet offered to Suite guests, so to transfer pictures from the phone to my iPad I had to use John’s internet password on one device.

I’ve saved the best tip (IMHO) for last. Our friend from Fredericksburg told us how to “cash out” our remaining onboard credit. He took John to the casino and basically what they did was this:

Make sure you know how much credit you still have.
Go to any slot machine.

Tap your card on the slot machine

Press ACCOUNT then PERSONAL BANKER

Enter 4 digit PIN CODE, month/day of your birthday

Press TRANSFER TO GAME, then ROOM CHARGE

Select amount UP TO $500 and press ENTER (This is where you must know how much credit you have left)

Then cash out.

Happy Sailing!

I've also been reading that you can visit Guest Services on your last day and they'll give you cash for any remaining OBC you haven't used.

A lot of judgement here about the elevators.

Just because someone looks young and “able bodied” doesn’t mean they are.

And even if they just want to be lazy and take the elevators that’s fine too. There is no rule saying you must be disabled to use them. People just need to learn to be more considerate.

Mama2, can you tell me in what night was the filet mignon in Coastal Kitchen?

That might be the best night for my DH.

I had to ask my DH because I can’t remember. He said he thinks it was the first night. He is sure it was early in the week.
He loved the tomato soup that was offered at lunch. I couldn’t try it because it wasn’t gluten free, but he had it many times.

Thank you. Hope we can get in for it.

If I want to do lunch at CK,  I’ll have to sneak in through the kitchen. We’re in a Junior Suite!

Wow...great advice!  Thanks!   We wanted to pull last 50.00 in OBC out, went to table and asked for chips.  But then of course with each of us holding a 25.00 chip...we just "had" to play.  And we both lost.  😮  Oh well, at least it wasn't our own money.  😉

Only worked for us if it was refundable OBC...they wouldn't do it for non-refundable.

Definitely the first night.  We order it without the distracting sauce...though you can always get it on the side if you want to try it.  Was a huge steak, very tender...and oh so good last week.  🙂

We had almost $100 left and John wanted to get the cash to use for extra tips for Elaine and Jeremiahs in the SL. It’s a good thing he went without me because I was already wondering how my luck would be on a slot machine! 🤣

You are most welcome.  🙂  I am still here for the same reason, lots of members willing to help where needed.  Much info over the years.

I am still bummed to lose that 50 bucks...but just glad it was OBC and not my own $$.  😉

Whose money was it?

Yeah, cute ...I get your humor...but...

OBC given to us for free just for booking a cruise on board, that is non-refundable??...yeah...bonus that I look at as "not my earned money".  😉   I book most of my cruises online direct, so no OBC on those.  Always a treat to play with OBC on board.  My record still stands at leaving .18 cents on the table.  😄
