Once on Maasdam in Australia they were flying the NZ flag. I shared with an embarassed senior officer.

A heck of a difference in nightfall times.  Pretty good visibility in Miami/FTL but very dark for QM2 in NY and in Key West.

In his post tonight Cpt Albert said,  "We have a new leader on board, Captain Sijbe de Boer went on vacation and now we have Captain Kevin Breinaert on board. Which is our first Belgian Captain."  

 

Cpt Albert is on NS and the reason for the Belgian flag.

A: They are the mother and fiancée of #HollandAmerica Captain Kevin from #Belgium ... he's also the "captain of their hearts" !
