ms Zuiderdam in Port Everglades December 10, 2019

Arriving back from dry dock, Zuiderdam will be at pier 26 (port to) from 0500-1601.  Not sure what that 1601 means - my best guess is that will change in the next 24 hours.  Since most of the HAL ships have been leaving at 1700 this year, more likely it will be closer to 5 pm than 4 pm.  She is leaving on a 10-day Southern Caribbean Seafarer cruise.

 

 

Kralendijk, Bonaire (13 Dec 0900-1800); Willemstad, Curacao (14 Dec 0800-2300); Oranjestad, Aruba (15 Dec 0800-2300); Amber Cove, Dominican Republic (17 Dec 0800-1800); Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (19 Dec 0800-1600); Fort Lauderdale, Florida (20 Dec a0700)

The only other ship in port is Caribbean Princess at pier 2 from 0530-1600.

We're on the cruise also and will do a photo review . The Zuiderdam is still in the Bahamas currently .

We join the ship 12/20. Very interested in the dry dock updates.

Considering she has no passengers to unload and can start resupplying the ship immediately. it could be 4 pm. 

 

I doubt I'll make sail-in - I do plan to be here for sailaway.

AIS is predicting a 0600 EST (11:00 UTC) arrival for Zuidy at FLL/PE. Pilot pickup is one mile east of the sea buoy

How far is the sea bouy from the inlet?

She must have just picked up the pilot, she slowed from 15k to 9k, she's about 4 miles out.

We'll be in the aft corner , starboard on the 5th deck . We may have rain for sail away but our balcony is covered .
