Wow, its actually happening, after years of rumors , Oasis is coming to Galveston. The sooner Royal gets its Terminal built the quicker Carnival and Port of Galveston will start plans to replace Stonehenge ........errrr...........Terminals 1 and 2.

Terminal  # 1 is one of largest and  has been one of largest terminals for a long time in US . Terminal # 2 has been enlarged by almost double and totally remodeled when Liberty arrived in Galveston .
Your facts are not accurate.
errrr....

If you want to see an old, ratty terminal, try the old terminals at San Francisco. (There's one new terminal there.) Makes anything at Galveston look like a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton!!

I was just there and went out one and return through the other. No doubt they are big, but compared to the newest terminals being built they have the ambiance of a Greyhound Bus station

Dream left out of Terminal 2 and we returned through Terminal 1.

Oh ok . Ambiance of terminal should  not make a break a cruise . These terminals are very adequate . And efficient. And nice .
We have cruised out of ports with tents as terminals .  We have cruised into and out  of ports with no terminal . . They did not make our cruises less enjoyable .
We enjoy life for what it is .
We are are very thankful for cruising scene in Galveston . We hear the stacks blow and announcements on ships from our home .
