Settle back and sip sparkling wine as you enjoy 75 minutes of natural scenery along the banks of a stream. Uch Ben Kah is a calm crystal-clear extension of the Bacalar Lagoon, nestled between four different types of mangroves that harbor various species of wildlife. As your guide-maneuvers the four-person raft, be on the lookout for some of the wild birds (parrots, pelicans, cormorants, and sea gulls,) and mammals (tapir, deer, and crocodiles) that make their home in this abundant tropical habitat. Linger over a tasty lunch of beef, fish, chicken or barbecued ribs, accompanied by side dishes, at the Lagoon Camp.
