Gem Electrical outlets in public areas

I presume there are electrical outlets in the public areas that could be used for charging electronic devices? Are they American or European style? This is for the NCL Gem. Thanks

I don’t remember any. It’s an older ship and they don’t have chairs or loungers with plugs built in.

IF you find any they will be US plug type.  I must say I've never looked for any but if you are in lounge near the stage area you'll probably find them in that area.

on all of the ships ive been on, i always seem them with the european plug in the hallway and public areas  since that's what use for the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the carpets and sometimes plug in those fan/dryers things

There are a few US outlets but they are hard to find, and are usually in high traffic areas that make using them difficult. They are there for housekeeping to use with vacuums.

Don't assume anything when it comes to cruise ships.  If you have electronic devices that need charging do it in your room.  If you use those devices so much that they run down during the day then bring along a portable charger/power supply. 

 

I made the mistake of assuming that since the Breakaway had undergone refurbishment last year there would be at least one USB charging port in the room...WRONG!
