dwade1901 Posted December 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2019 I've just noticed that my balcony cabin for my cruise in a few weeks (Bella) is down as a Fantastica balcony for the Summer 2020 deck plan. Just curious really - if one of the criteria for cabin grade is location, why the change? Like I said, not really bothered, just curious.... :-)
deliver42 Posted December 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2019 It could be location, but you will still be Bella as the experience.

Yeah - like I said, it's down as a 'bella' for my cruise but later in the year it's being changed to fantastica. I guess they deem the location of the balcony good enough to classify it as a fantastica moving forward 🙂
Até Posted December 19, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2019 They just reclassified almost 100 cabins in the deep aft inset on decks 9 to 12 as Fantastica rather than Bella. There's about 28 on deck 8 hump that were the reverse, going from Fantastica to Bella. I think they were graded more appropriately to begin with, but I'm sure MSC marketers feel this will generate more revenue with about 70 less Bella balcony cabins. camofwilliamsburg Posted December 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Not when they give away balcony cabins for 199pp!

I would have taken advantage of that but I had just sent our passports to be renewed and wasn't willing to travel on a birth certificate. Still watching....
