Equinox staying on ship after embarkation excursion

When we were on the edge they had this  excursion  where you could stay on the ship after embarkation. We will be on the equinox in January and I’d like to know if they have the same  excursion available. From what I remember on the edge it gave you time to relax in the pool they held your luggage and I do believe they gave you transportation and the classic drink program. Does anybody have any information on this for me?

For staying on the ship after everyone disembarked, look up “extend your stay.”  There have been several posts about this in the last three or four days. I don’t believe it includes any transportation. It may or may not be available on your equinox cruise, look on your cruise planner to see if it is bookable.

Check out Cruise Planner.    It should be available on you sailing as it is on my Equinox March cruises.   Check under Excursions -   Select Fort Lauderdale and then choose SHOW ALL.    It will be the last one and is hidden until you click the show all.

If you're a suite passenger just go to Michael's Club (Retreat Lounge) with your luggage and hang out until you're ready to disembark. Save yourself $79 per person and you can have whatever you wish to drink, after your breakfast at Luminae. Then the concierge will escort you to the short line off the ship. Just a suggestion.

Unfortunately this won't work in the U.S..   At approximately 9:00 all passengers are instructed to leave the ship unless you are a B2B or Extend your Stay Passenger.  They then require all of the B2B's and Extend your Stay passengers to disembark so the ship can be zeroed out.    After clearing Customs and Immigration you are invited back on the ship.

Ah.... well I guess I didn't fully understand. How late can a passenger stay on the ship then? Is this for back to back passengers?

Also, how late are passengers allowed to stay before they are expected to leave? I will guess this only applies to back to back passengers?

This program sounds like a major pain in the neck.  You have to get off, claim your luggage, clear customs, then get back on.  How is that relaxing?  NOT.  Even after you get back on, they'll be cleaning and sanitizing around you.  That's not my idea of relaxing.  If you have a later flight, in my view you'd do better to get off when you finally have to and go to the airport and hang out in your carrier's lounge.  Or take one of the Celebrity excursions that takes you to the Everglades and then to the airport.

Or, if the flight is late enough (as many long hauls are), disembark as early as possible and get a Day Room at a hotel.  Relax the whole day, have access to a pool and gym usually, plus have a room to take a nap and shower before heading to the airport.

Here's a list of 15 available at FLL.
