Can you cancel dinner at a specialy restaurant?

Can you cancel a specialty restaurant that you booked ahead of time?  and get your onb credits refunded?

Yes.   If you do it before you cruise they get returned to your cruise planner.   If you do it onboard credit goes to your onboard account.   I think you have to do it at least 24 hrs in advance.

Absolutely! I even canceled a dining package after boarding due to a large group that took all the rational dining times. No, I did not want to eat in Murano at 10 PM...

just to check, does (re) booking a specialty on board still include the service charge, or is this then charged on top?

Don't know that answer but  want to remind folks to make sure all extra fees and taxes are disclosed when booking or re booking  on board  esp if docked..

 

To get our 15% E + discount on a Coastal Ca cruise on Infinity,  we had to cancel and re book at Tuscan as we usually do. The maitre d questioned the discount although we had our Cap Club paperwork,  and he  made our dinner very unpleasant while he " investigated" . To make it worse, after he reluctantly agreed ( like it was his money),  a local  SF sales  was applied which he did not  bother to mention,  It did get sorted out but was a surprise to us.  I believe this can happen in other ports as well!

This is why they generally close the retail outlets while in port.

SF  = San Francisco and I left out the word tax.... sales tax
