NicoleToussaint Posted December 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2019 I'm waiting on a response from RC directly, but does anyone know if toddlers in swim diapers are allowed in the new splash pad area on Navigator? It is so hard to figure out which ships exactly have this and even the ones that do have an area what the area looks like!
Rare twangster Posted December 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2019 There are two kid water areas on Navigator. On the near end of the pool in the picture below is the larger kids area and to the right of that is smaller younger kid area. The larger kid water area does not allow swim diapers. The area for smaller kids may allow swim diapers. I believe it has a separate filtration system. Honestly I can't remember but I think this small water area does allow swim diapers.
adonisr Posted December 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Swim diapers do not keep "bad stuff" sealed inside them. Unless you are duct taping the legs and waist of the diaper you risk exposing other kids to nasty stuff by putting your kid in the water in a swim diaper. Please don't.

That is why they are restricted to the baby pool that is a closed system and not connected to the other pools.

And the odds of a baby in that pool not ingesting water from that pool are very low. A "baby pool" provides a false sense of safety.
JasonMason Posted January 1, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2020 They are permitted only in the smaller of the two splash pads (the one on the starboard side), but definitely are not permitted in any other area - saw the lifeguards enforcing this on several occasions.
