MSC Seaside is getting lots of good reviews re amount of outdoor space.

I've sailed MSC Seaside, Quantum of the Seas, and Adventure of the Seas.

Seaside definitely had more of an open feel with the way the rear of the ship was set up as well as more deck space up top, while Quantum class ships probably have greater over all desk space with all the deck up above the pool level which is also mostly open. I would say if what you want is outside spaces to sunbath or run on a track, Quantum will give Seaside a run for its money. If what you want is the feeling of being able to be outside on whim with multiple areas and multiple things to do, Seaside is your ship.

It depends what you room by room. If you're looking for lots of attractions like water slides, rock climbing walls, surf riders then Royal Caribbean is the answer, Oasis Class are the gargantuan size packed with everything under the sun. Quantum class is a bit smaller, tons of outdoor space particularly the beautiful Solarium area.

If you're looking for deck space to lounge and relax have a look at Celebrity cruises, Solstice class or the brand new Edge which is phenomenal.

You could go old school and try the Queen Mary 2, lots of beautiful outdoor space, a wrap around promenade deck, something you rarely find anymore. Many lovely quiet spots to relax with open space and not encumbered with attractions like water slides.

Happy Cruising.
