Looking into insurance for trips..what have you found to be the least expensive companies?

I usually check insuremytrip.com and compare packages. We fly to the port so want coverage for flight delays, luggage loss, etc along with medical, evacuation and cancellation coverage.

All will give you an idea of costs and the tradeoffs between policies....the question you should be asking is "what insurance coverage do I need...given my medical conditions, other coverages, etc.  Do NOT assume that insurance from your cruiseline is right or even adequate for YOU....and be careful about the insurance offered by TA's...it may be great, or maybe not FOR YOU.

 

Remember that "Cheap isn't always good and good isn't always cheap".

Add to that, be sure that you check the insurance that comes with some credit cards.  That as well isn't comprehensive and it may not be adequate as well.  You want insurance that is comprehensive and a primary policy that includes emergency evacuations.
