Galveston Car Service

Besides Uber and Lyft has anyone used a private car service from the airport to your hotel?

Since we are not flying In the day we embark and not flying out on the day we return we need to make arrangements with someone other than Uber/Lyft.  Thanks!

We used Glaveston Shuttle and Limo in 2016. They picked us up at the port and took us around Galveston, stopped for lunch, and then on to the airport late afternoon. We would recommend them.

We are flying in the day before we leave on our cruise in 10 days, and was planning on using Uber for transport between Hobby and Galveston. Are you saying that Uber is only available on embarkation day for Galveston?

No, that is not what I was implying at all.  I was checking into other options since we do not fly out the same day we return.

Think using Uber or Lift on the day before or day after cruise is better. No congestion pricing.

You might consider staying in the Harbor House or the Tremont. I walked with my bags from the Harbor House to the cruise pier last month and it was fine. After the cruise, I took the bags to the Tremont to wait for my ride. That also worked well. If nobody in your group has mobility challenges, they are both walkable. I cruised with someone last year who really struggled to get an Uber.
