have a space in between them as if they removed one of the cabins. Any idea about that space?

 

Also, what are the most quiet decks for balcony cabins that lack a lot of congestion and/or venues?

We avoid deck 14 so as not to be directly under the pool deck.

Someone on here investigated that a while ago and that is what they reported.

I sailed on Allure last year with a balcony on Deck 7 aft. LOVED this location. Theres a doorway out to the back of the ship and stairs that connect to the Boardwalk. Super convenient to get places, and no noise that I remember.

We always stay on Deck 8 or 9 on Allure, Aft by the elevators.  Love that area.  Walk through Central Park at night, look into Dazzles to see what is going on, and head to our balcony cabin.  For us, perfect location

Excellent. That is so good to know. Only one cabin on the side of our cabin.

I would be more concerned about noise from AC units than I would be about noise from neighbours.

Definitely 

Up on 14 there is a pump room next to each of the pools. You can hear them from the hallway.

 

And this closet is way noisier than neighbors

Kinda depends on the neighbours.🙄
