Shuttle from LGA

We are arriving at LGA on a Saturday evening (flight is already booked) for a cruise from the Manhattan cruise terminal on the Sunday. We intend staying at the Hampton Inn near LGA on the Saturday night. To get to the cruise terminal on Sunday morning we would like to take a shared shuttle van as we have done from EWR in the past, but we are wondering how realistic this idea is because of all the construction at LGA. If we have to we will use Uber but not keen, definitely don't want to use public transport like a train or bus (we are 70 year olds). Any advice on which shuttle services offer transport to the cruise terminal would be appreciated.

ALL of the LGA hotels, including the Hamptons are off the airport ground and not really impacted by the ongoing constructions.  Drivers will get around them via local/city streets.  You do NOT want to take the hotel shuttle back to the airline terminal for any sort of shuttle transfer options, including that of (NCL, I'm making a guess here, available recently for $35 p/p one-way)

Unless everyone on a shared shuttle van ride are going to the MCT, you aren't going to save time (nor much money) in going in circles & making 3 to 4 extra en-route stops.  Given your "needs" - I strongly recommend using a pre-booked car service, Dial 7 and Carmel are the 2 largest for hired fleets/car service licensed in the NY Tri-State region ... just used them last month (again) going to the pier, punctual/early & safe, clean & comfortable vehicle.  Pricing is virtually identical to what Lyft (Uber's competition) was quoting live, online when we wanted to schedule a pickup ... on a Saturday morning.  $60 prepaid, including tolls, tips & discount.  Your trip will be around $50 as it's about 4 miles closer than us (further east of LGA) on Carmel - in a standard 4 door sedan, good for 3 adults & 3 large bags, plus carry-on.

There are 3 Hampton Inns near LGA, 1 is off the parkway exit/entrance ramps across on the other side of the airport, 1 is east of, near us and the 3rd one is west of, closer to Manhattan - all 3 has free shuttle services.  However, you need to know - that, a free, quick & easy (for most) shuttle ride is likely REQUIRED from the airline terminal to Lot A's pickup area for all hotel transfers - with luggage - to get to your hotel.  Confirm by calling the hotel's local number to check with their front desk about the latest arrangement.

Thank you for the info mking. Yes, ncl. We had thought about going back to LGA on the Sunday morning to get a shuttle to the cruise port but instead will opt for a ride directly from hotel to cruise terminal.
