Beach snorkeling? Or catamaran? Or both?

I'm doing some very preliminary research into my upcoming Bermuda cruise. We're going to be docking overnight from 2:30 pm until 2:30 pm, in July, at the Dockyard.

My interests are snorkeling, a nice beach (preferably pink, of course), and shopping. (I don't know what my other party members will want to do, but I figure I should investigate my own options first and then coordinate from there.) In an ideal world, I'd do the outer reef catamaran tours and Tobacco Bay both, but they don't fit the 2:30-2:30 schedule.

So should I do Horseshoe Bay? Or Church Bay? Or both, even?

Should I do a catamaran/RIB snorkeling trip as well (on day 2)? And/or a sunset cruise?

I would beach it and do things that require transportation on the first day as you can be a little more leisurely about it and then squeeze in a catamaran trip in the morning the day you depart from the Dockyard (maybe worth booking through the cruise line for the extra peace of mind of not missing the ship).
