Rare MMDown Under Posted January 7, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2020 For those looking for a reputable volunteer charity to donate towards the Australian bush fire recovery, I'd like you to consider Blaze Aid. www.blazeaid.com.au Blaze Aid is a volunteer based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia, after fires and floods. They co-ordinate volunteers to mend fences, etc. In the past, after major disasters in the bush, volunteers shift to the bush to mend fences, etc. Many grey nomads cancel their travels to help their fellow Australians. In addition, each state has a CWA (Country Women's Association). As a past member, I know that CWA in Queensland takes no administration fees from donations, but gives the whole amount to rural people who need assistance, in forms of vouchers to spend in their local shops. This helps small businesses in rural areas stay in the local town, until times improve.
