Does such a thing exist in the coupons loaded onto your seapass card?

i am looking to book a specialty restaurant online prior to cruise but I’ll wait if a discount is in the diamond discount offerings. Thanks!

Have never seen it as a discount in Diamond perks,. Have seen the waiters many times on day one trying to sell a discounted dining night or package. There is a BOGO offered to D+ as a perk. happy cruising

One advantage to purchase pre-cruise is the 18% gratuity is NOT charged.  On board the gratuity will be added.

On bookings made on board the ship, yes.

18% on the fee you paid or 18% on the total value of the meal?

*sorry if these are dumb questions*

If we dont get charged in the cruise planner, we add a tip anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

As others have ssid, you can often ask for 20-30% off when you are on ship. Downside is some venues may not have desirable times available

You can ask for a discount and they sometimes grant it?

Absolutely.  Sometimes they offer a discount without you even asking.
