Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered. If my husband can't drink, can I get the free drink perk and he choose another perk? We can pick two perks with our cabin choice. Thank you!

The gratuities are so high and doesn't include water and coffee, or did that change?

  You are correct, the "free" package doesn't include water or coffee.

 

  If he doesn't drink, calculate how much you would spend, if it's under $40 a day, then don't get the free package, if it's above, you're coming out ahead. Remember to include sodas if you drink those.

You said that he "can't" drink, not that he chooses not to.  On another cruise line, they will make an exception for medical reasons or AA status, usually requiring them to buy the soda package or some such.  I don't know if NCL does this, but it is worth a call.

Water is included. Bottled/boxed water is not.

Coffee is included. Specialty coffee is not.

Fake news.  Water and coffee are included with the cruise.  This discussion is regarding non-complimentary choices.  As such, non-complimentary water and coffee are not included with the beverage package.  NCL makes this stuff confusing enough, no reason for you to add to that confusion.

When we chose the 2 perks we could chose excursion credit, internet, dinners, drink package. We chose the drink package because I don't drink but my husband drink wine at dinner and 2 or 3 drinks, that, plus the internet costs, would cover both of us( we made one Excell sheet with the previsible costs) and I can enjoy virgin cocktails . Over here ( Portugal) the drink package include the gatuity.
