Bbmurphy Posted January 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2020 I was lucky enough to be upgraded on the Divina having had a guaranteed room but no room number assigned upfront. Lately I’ve been reading about people bidding on an upgrade like they do on Norwegian cruise line. Just wondering how to do a bid on MSC or do you have to have an invitation from the ship to do it? Rare ziggyuk Posted January 11, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2020 It's the same company doing it for NCL and MSC so the process will be very similar and will start with an email invite.
echick Posted January 13, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2020 On 1/8/20, we received an upgrade invite for the 1/28/20 Divina sailing. We were already booked in a Fantastica mid-ship balcony. We bid on a panoramic window Aurea suite and received it today (1/13). We only bid $65 each for a total of $130. Because it's only a 3 night cruise, we figured we'd see what a suite is like. It has a bath tub which should be nice! Can't wait!
