Yay another John and LaLa review!  Reading your review will make the time until my Oasis Eastern itinerary cruise in February.  The new elevator buttons look great.  I always felt the old ones were hard to tell if they had been pushed 😂.

They had them on Mariner as well.  The best part was the little indication of "next deck/stop".   They are indeed far improved.  🙂

I saw your pics of the SL.  Did they make any changes there to make it like the Harmony?  The chairs by the window in the SL look like the same old chairs they had before.. I hope they changed them!

They looked the same as last time we were on board.  "Early American garage sale" style.  😜

I'm told there are 30 total. Top Tier is tomorow in Studio B

Must be lower numbers overall?...having it there instead of what has ended up happening with the "everyone invited" event at the Aqua theater.

Adventure did the next stop as well, but they were different than these ones

who are the concierges in the SL? and in DL?  we expect  full review and rating 😉

Lyli De Leon and Nadia Paez in SL

We have sailed a lot with Lyli,  and enjoy her very much. First time with Nadia, but she seems very attentive.

Jandi Kim in DL. This may be her first week. Will stop by sometime

How to not punch a key card

20200112_214624.thumb.jpg.74f2a3e3f3a2c6c33384050e96faf221.jpg

After muster Laura wanted to go to Guest Services and get it punched. No one was there, but the punch was available. Laura said don't do it, but I did anyway. And I killed it.

Went back to GS's, huge line, so I got Lyli to make me a new one. She hss no punch, so I had to go back to GS after dinner.  Mission accomplished

That being said it is still a very quick process both for boarding and disembarking.

Usually anyway.  We had the misfortune of being the next to go through checkin when the network went down.  We watched the people in front of us go on board while we stood for 90 minutes. At least we weren't at the back of the line which was still outside.    Glad to hear most people haven't seen this and they figured out a good backup.

They are now out of CLs or just ones that are converted to SLs?

D+ members do not have access to the CL when the numbers of D+ are high on a particular ship/sailing. D+ could have access one sailing but not the next as numbers of D+ onboard change.

A trick on RFID cards is to hold a flashlight up to the back of them.  You should notice a oval circle inside the card don't punch there, but there is also be a small chip about the size of the top of a pencil eraser coming off the oval avoid this area as well

Yep, but the punch is specifically designed for these cards. I just put it in the jig wrong.

Maybe, no chance it's part of the TV system?

I'd hate for someone to find one of my USB sticks😱

Pull it out, see what happens. (TWSS)

Or, see if any menu options on the TV let you access that port.
